A man suspected of stalking the British actress Keira Knightley has been arrested and charged with harassment.

Reports claim Marek Daniluk, 41, a Polish national, living in Enfield, was charged with harassment yesterday.

It is believe he was arrested outside the Comedy Theatre where the actress is appearing in The Misanthrope.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actress has had a number of stalkers over recent years. It is believed she moved to the US in a bid to escape them.

It is also said that Daniluk was arrested after Knightley reportedly told police she had felt threatened by him.
