It's unlikely to cause many tears in the film world, but Liz Hurley has announced that she is to quit acting and will instead focus on farming.
Liz, who is more famous for her plunging necklines and revealing dresses - which started with the celebrated Versace 'safety pin' dress when she was dating Hugh Grant - admits that she loves getting her hands dirty.
"It's the best thing I've ever done... it's the only place I want to be," she raved.
The Austin Powers and Bedazzled actress will develop her own range of organic foods from the English countryside.
"When we get our organic status we're going to farm properly and we're going to have a herd of cows and proper sheep and proper chickens, and we're going to have small amounts of Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs. I've joined the breeders' club already and I'm quite excited about it," she added.
It seems that her relationship with Indian-born fiance Arun Nayer has had an influence on her plans, as she said: "I would like to go for some kind of organic food production and I plan to do it - maybe something Indian."
As well as developing her farm, Liz will be busy organising her wedding to Nayer, which she confirmed at the start of this month following months of speculation.
