Teenage sensation Miley Cyrus has topped the US box office with her new film Hannah Montana: The Movie.
The Disney film sold $34 million worth of tickers during the Easter weekend, taking twice as much as the studio had predicted.
The 16-year-old star even went along to two screenings herself, in Utah and Tennessee, and wrote about the film on her Twitter page.
"Omgomg! [Oh My God] my fans rock! the movie is doing great you guys! omg AND its all cause of you!!!! I LOVE U ALL! IF YOU HAVENT SEEN IT YET CHECK IT!," she wrote.
Last weekend's number one, Fast and Furious slipped one place, taking $28.8 million. The Vin Diesel sequel has now taken $118 million in the ten days since it was released.
And the animated Monsters vs Aliens was number three at the box office this week, taking $22.6 million.
