Brad Pitt and George Clooney are to star in a new instalment of the hugely popular Ocean's heist series, Ocean's 13, Warner Bros film studios have announced.
Not content with robbing in Vegas in Ocean's 11 and across Europe in Ocean's 12, Clooney and Pitt are continuing their spree with a new heist project, this time set in Los Angeles.
Clooney and Pitt will be reunited for the third instalment with fellow gang members Matt Damon, Bernie Mac, Andy Garcia and Don Cheadle.
The role of femme fatale, played by Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta Jones in the previous films, will this time by filled by Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas belle Ellen Barkin.
Oscar winning director Steven Soderbergh, who oversaw Ocean's 12, will also return.
Filming on the latest instalment is due to begin in LA on July 21st, with Warner Bros refusing to release further details of the plot.
Given the success of the previous two instalments, however, which took combined worldwide box office takings of more than $800 million, Ocean's 13 is likely to stick closely to the tried-and-tested heist-movie-with-pizzazz formula.
It is unlikely to win many awards, but it seems certain that Ocean's 13 will be topping box office charts when it is eventually released.
