Actress Brittany Murphy died after taking "multiple" prescription medications, a US coroner has confirmed.
The 32-year-old star was found dead in December at her Los Angeles home.
On Thursday it was announced she had died from pneumonia, with iron-deficiency anaemia a secondary factor, along with "multiple drug intoxication".
The drugs in question were all prescription medicines, the corner confirmed.
Murphy's husband has rejected claims the Clueless actress had an eating disorder and had abused prescription medicines.
The Los Angeles coroner ruled her death had been accidental and there was no evidence of any wrongdoing.
Further details are expected to reveal in a couple of weeks.
Murphy was best known for her roles in Clueless and 8 Mile, alongside US rapper Eminem.
