Elton John has cancelled more shows after suffering from an E.coli bacterial infection and a bad case of flu.
The 62-year-old singer is postponing three concerts he was planning in the US this month until he recovers.
According to the Mail on Sunday, the star is being treated in King Edward VII hospital in Marylebone.
Sir Elton has already cancelled several concerts in the UK and Ireland after contracting the infection.
He was admitted to hospital after his illness worsened on Friday, according to the paper.
David Furnish, the musician's partner, spent much of yesterday at the hospital and told reporters as he left: "He's OK, he's fine."
Sir Elton's spokesman told The People: "He is recovering from a case of serious influenza with minor complications. We are confident he will be back on stage in the very near future.
"We are also in discussions with our promoters regarding venue availability, as we are hoping to reschedule any lost shows.
"All tickets for the postponed UK shows should be retained."
