Eastenders bosses are planning to spice up life in Albert Square by introducing some sexy new characters into the soap, the Mirror reports.
The show's top writer Tony Jordan has told the paper that he is currently creating six "great new characters" to try and boost ratings.
Walford's new residents will reportedly include a new friend for Sonia in the form of naughty nurse Naomi and Dawn, a long-lost member of the Miller family.
"What Albert Square is missing at the moment is some totty, both male and female," Jordan told the Mirror.
"We're going to up the totty count with some great new characters, six in total. I want to get back to the days when we had girls going out and having a laugh, a bit like we had with Tiffany and Bianca."
"And they are going to need some blokes to play with," he added.
In a surprise U-turn, Eastenders bosses have also decided to bring Alfie's cousin Jake Moon back to the Square, after actor Joel Beckett proved a hit with female viewers. Fans of Beckett, who first appeared as Dawn's boyfriend in the hit BBC sitcom, The Office, will return to the soap in the autumn.
Michelle Ryan, who plays pretty market trader Zoe Slater, will become the latest Eastenders' star to leave the show when she departs later this month.
