Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Dunn predicts new manager Paul Ince will be a success at Ewood Park.
Although Ince has only been in management for two years, at lower-league clubs, Dunn believes Ince's knowledge of playing at the highest level will earn him the respect of the players.
Ince will be unveiled at Ewood Park tomorrow but Dunn is already pleased to have a ready-made replacement for Mark Hughes.
Dunn told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "I'm looking forward to working with him. He's obviously done well at the last two clubs he's been at, and I'm sure he'll be a big success here too."
The midfielder likened Ince to Hughes, claiming he has the same attributes as Manchester City boss did when first he took over at Rovers, claiming both were "ambitious" and "terrific" former players.
Dunn accepts there will be changes at the club now there is a new manager but is eager to see what Ince has to offer.
He said: "Whenever a new manager comes in, it's inevitable there are going to be changes, so I'm looking forward to seeing what new ideas he brings in.
"This is a fresh start for everyone, and I'm looking forward to the challenge."
Dunn hopes Ince will be able to maintain the excellent record Hughes established as manager at Rovers and is looking forward to the new season.
"Paul was a great player and a real leader, and I'm sure he'll prove to be exactly the same as a manager," he concluded.
