Englishman Luke Donald is leading the charge on clubhouse leaders Henrik Stenson and Billy Andrade in the second round of the US PGA Championship at Medinah.
Donald is on seven under after 11 holes with three birdies on the front nine and is tied with Davis Love, one stroke behind the leaders at the rain affected Country club in Illnois.
He is also tied on seven under par with Australian Geoff Oglivy, and one shot ahead of Chris Riley who shot 72.
Stenson, who will play in the Ryder Cup next month, carded a round of 68 while Andrade is on eight under after 12 holes.
Tiger Woods continues his steady progress on five under after eight holes while rival Phil Mickelson is one shot behind.
Spain's Sergio Garcia is on five under after a solid round of 70 along with Swede Daniel Chopra (67) and former champion Shaun Micheel (70)in the final major of the season.
Ian Poulter is the next placed Englishman on four under after completing his second round while veteran Lee Westwood in on three under, one stroke ahead of David Howell.
Earlier, Colin Montgomerie failed to make the weekend cut for the third time in four majors after a disappointing 71 to leave him four over par.
