The first acts confirmed to play at this year's Bestival have been announced.

Rapper Dizzee Rascal and singing veteran Rolf Harris are amongst the line-up, whilst Hot Chip are returning to perform at the festival for the fifth time.

The festival will include a number of live DJ sets including those by Radio One's Annie Mac, David Rodigan and Ewan Pearson.

Performances from BBC Sound of 2010 and BRITS Critic Choice winner, Ellie Goulding and the Cuban Brothers are also on the festival's agenda.

For this year's festival, the organisers of Bestival have doubled the size of 'The Afterburner stage', while adding the 'Tomorrow's World' attraction looking at sustainable and green future.

The festival will take place from September 9th to 12th on the Isle of Wight.
