England new boy Dimitri Mascarenhas helped Hampshire to a nail-biting tie with Kent in the Twenty20 Cup at The Rose Bowl.
Mascarenhas, who was called up in England's ODI squad for the West Indies series, took 3-17 as Kent made 153-6 in their 20 overs.
The all-rounder then hit 31 as the Hawks snatched a draw with the last ball of the match.
Elsewhere, Mark Ramprakash fired an unbeaten 85 to help Surrey thump Middlesex by six wickets at the Oval.
The veteran continued his impressive season by smashing eight boundaries and four sixes for the hosts.
After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Middlesex set 164 to win with Jamie Dalrymple top-scoring with 61.
Surrey passed their target with four balls to spare thanks to Ramprakash and 49 from Gareth Batty.
A swashbuckling century from Murray Goodwin was not enough to prevent Sussex going down to a six-wicket defeat to Essex at Chelmsford.
The South African opener smashed nine boundaries and five sixes but was not supported by his team-mates as Sussex made 165-5.
Essex passed their target thanks to solid contributions from the top order with Andy Flower making 37.
Mal Loye struck 80 not out to guide Lancashire to a six-wicket win over Durham at Old Trafford.
After Durham had set 150 to win, Loye hit seven boundaries and three sixes to help the Lightning win with three balls to spare.
At Grace Road, a hat-trick from Jeremy Snape gave holders Leicestershire a 13-run victory over Yorkshire.
Snape finished with 3-6 from one over while Chris Broad took 2-28 to leave the visitors on 141-9.
The Foxes had earlier made 154-5 from their 20 overs with Australian James Allenby whacking 43 off 33 balls.
Samit Patel continued his sensational form with an unbeaten 55 to give Nottinghamshire a six-wicket from Derbyshire at Derby.
After the hosts were skittled out for 148, Patel helped Notts pass their target with ten balls to spare.
Warwickshire scraped to a seven-run victory over Somerset at Edgbaston. After winning the toss and choosing to bat, the Bears made 154-6 with Tim Ambrose top-scoring with 47.
In reply the Sabres were restricted to 154-8 in their 20 overs, with Marcus Trescothick falling for 17.
