The Ministry of Defence has released pictures of Prince William's secret visit to RAF detachments in Afghanistan earlier this week.


Prince William in AfghanistanThe prince, second in line to the throne, flew to Afghanistan as his two-month attachment to the RAF ends.

Earlier this month the 25-year-old, or Flying Officer Wales as he is known to the RAF, received his pilot's wings.
