The niece of UK defence minister Quentin Davies has been jailed for 15 years by a French court after being convicted of murdering a man she picked up at a bar.
Jessica Davies, 30, admitted stabbing Olivier Mugnier in her Paris flat after a night out in November 2007.
Jurors heard how Jessica had met Mr Mugnier in an Irish pub in Saint-Germain-en-Laye before returning home with him.
But after he failed to "perform" she drove a kitchen knife - the same knife she used in a failed suicide attempt months earlier - 5in into his chest.
After emergency services arrived at her flat she said: "It's me who did that, I'm a monster. I wanted to cut him a bit and it went right in."
Jessica, whose father Richard is the younger brother of Labour MP Quentin Davies, was barely able to stand upon her arrest due to a cocktail of drugs and alcohol.
