Scotland coach Andy Robinson has made one change to the side that lost to Italy with Nick De Luca coming into the starting XV for Saturday's match against England.
Simon Danielli drops to the bench with Max Evans moving to the wing and De Luca drafted into the centres alongside Graeme Morrison.
Scrum-half Chris Cusiter has beaten a virus to retain the Scotland captaincy while number ten Dan Parks will win his 50th cap in the Calcutta Cup clash with England at Murrayfield.
"The team has played some good rugby and we have been creating chances," said Robinson of the side's Six Nations campaign, with Scotland bottom of the championship table.
"We just need to take that next step and finish off a game.
"Max has been our most potent attacker and we also want to see Nick and the qualities that he can bring to this game."
