A woman has been injured after a bomb exploded under her car in east Belfast as she left the home of a police officer.
Police have said they are investigating the matter and pledged to "find those responsible".
The 38-year-old woman was taking the car out of the driveway of a house in Kingsdale Park at around 07:30 BST today when the device exploded. She is reported to be the partner of a police officer, whose home she was leaving.
Reports say she was taken to hospital with a minor arm injury and ringing in her ears but has been discharged.
Police could not confirm whether the policeman's home had been specifically targeted by whoever planted the bomb, adding that they were "thankful that no one was seriously injured".
Chief Superintendent Brian Maguire indicated that a device had been planted on the passenger side of the car and had someone been sitting there it could have caused a fatality.
The area is close to where dissident republican attacks have been carried out in the past.
