Two schoolboys have been taken to hospital after suffering from stab wounds in south-east London.
Police believe the incident occurred during an attempted robbery as assailants armed with knives attacked two boys aged ten and 12.
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the stabbings on Saturday and is in a south London police station where he is being questioned.
The assault took place on Penrose street, Walsworth, in the capital's southeast.
The ten-year-old-boy remains in hospital with non-critical injuries whereas the other youngster, 12, has been discharged after being treated for minor injuries.
The identities of the detained youngster or those injured are yet to be released.
