Three teenagers charged with the murder of teenager Ben Kinsella have pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey today.
Ben, 14, was stabbed to death on June 29th after reportedly being involved in a pub fight in York Way, Holloway, north London.
Juress Kika and Michael Alleyne, both 18, and Jade Braithwaite, 19, all entered not guilty pleas on Monday and were remanded in custody.
The three suspects will stand trial on April 21st.
Following Ben's death, his sister, former Eastenders actress Brooke Kinsella, helped raise awareness about knife crime and a website was launched in memory of Ben urging "all teenagers to put down your knives and weapons and think about the pain and suffering they will cause".
Ben was the 17th teenager to die violently in London this year; the figure has since risen to 27.
