Investigations into the murder of Terry Edmonds have been stepped up today with the release of a series of CCTV images picturing the teenager's final few hours.
Kent police have released four photographs showing the 17-year-old walking out of Tunbridge Wells railway station at 18:20 BST on Easter Monday, the last time she was seen alive.
Officers have asked the other people in the pictures who are seen leaving the station at the same time as Terry to come forward.
Detective Inspector David Withers, who is leading the inquiry, said: "I am keen to stress that we would like to speak to these people as they are potential witnesses who may have valuable information."
He added: "They may not even realise they were leaving the station at the same time as Terry. We are not linking them with the investigation in any other way."
The release of the images today comes one week after Terry's mother, Helen Edmonds, delivered an emotional plea to the public for anyone to come forward with any information.
Terry's body was found in a suitcase in a Morrisons car park in Vale Avenue, Tunbridge Wells, on Saturday April 29th and police believe she had been sexually assaulted before being strangled to death.
Three men have been arrested and released in connection with the Kent police inquiry. A 21-year-old man who was one of those arrested in connection with the murder inquiry remains on police bail.
