Police have charged a 25-year-old Romanian woman in connection with the £53 million robbery from a Securitas depot in Kent earlier this year.
Warehouse worker Raluca Antonela Millen appeared in Maidstone Magistrates Court this morning charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to kidnap. She has been remanded in custody until her preliminary hearing on April 28th.
A total of 27 people have been arrested in connection with the record £53 million raid at the Securitas depot in Tonbridge, Kent on February 22nd this year. Depot manager Colin Dixon and his wife and son were kidnapped to facilitate the raid.
Ermir Hysenah, 27, and car salesman John Fowler, 57, have already been charged with conspiracy to rob Securitas with Mr Fowler also being charged with conspiracy to kidnap.
Stuart Royle, 47, from Maidstone, Jetmir Bucpapa, 24, from Tonbridge, and Lea John Rusha, 33, from Tunbridge Wells, have been charged with conspiracy to rob.
Kim Shackleton, 39, from Maidstone, has been charged with handling stolen goods.
Kent police have so far recovered about £20 million of the cash and inquiries are continuing to establish the whereabouts of the rest of the stolen money.
