Two men have been charged with the murder of former British heavyweight boxing champion James Oyebola.
Rene McKoy, 19, and 22-year-old Kanyanta Mulenga, both of south-west London, will appear before west London magistrates court tomorrow accused of shooting the 47-year-old.
Mr Oyebola was shot in the early hours of the morning on July 23rd this year following an incident at a west London nightclub.
After being shot in the head and leg at Chateau 6 on Fulham Road he died four days later in hospital.
The 6ft 9ins Nigerian-born fighter, who won 18 out of his 23 bouts, was described by his family after his death as a "gentle giant".
A bronze medallist at the 1986 commonwealth games, he retired in 1996, three years after claiming the WBC international heavyweight title.
