A nine-year-old boy has been found wandering alone in London after being left at a bus stop by his uncle, police said.
Gurrinder Singh, who only speaks Punjabi, told police through an interpreter he had been in the country for up to three years.
He was found in a clinic in Harrington Road, Southall, during the afternoon and police believe he had been on his own for a number of hours beforehand.
Gurrinder said he has been living with his uncle, whom he described as white, in a three bedroomed-house.
Police said he also told them he was brought to Southall on a 'bendy-bus' which officers believe to be the route 207, Shepherds Bush to Hayes by-pass.
Police are now looking for family or friends of the boy and particularly his uncle, who is described as in his 30s and about 5ft 8in.
