A 53-year-old man has been charged with murdering a young woman who was seven months pregnant in Grimsby on Sunday.
Claire Wilson, 21, died at Diana, Princess of Wales hospital on Sunday after sustaining a single stab wound in the back during the incident on Victoria South Street at 16:00 BST.
Humberside police, who confirmed Ms Wilson's unborn baby did not survive the incident, charged Alan McMullan with her murder late on Monday.
He is due to appear before Grimsby magistrates court on Tuesday.
A statement from the force said Ms Wilson's family were "struggling to come to terms with their sad loss".
Ms Wilson had been on her way to work at a pizza restaurant when she was stabbed, detectives added.
