A man has been charged with stabbing a father to death at a Croydon bus stop in front of his three-year-old daughter.
John Abbey - also known to his friends as King died from a single stab wound to the heart last week.
The Metropolitan police confirmed on Sunday Charles William Acquaah, 22, from Croydon, will appear before a magistrates' court this morning charged with murdering the boxer.
Reports suggest Mr Abbey was attacked at the bus stop after getting into an argument on his way to see his wife and their newborn son at hospital.
Two other men, aged 36 and 39, were also arrested on Sunday and remain in custody in south London police stations.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident, in particular two teenage boys thought to have been at the bus stop at the time, to come forward with information.
The boys are described as "black, aged between 15 and 20 years old, of slim build and wearing hooded tops".
