A 24-year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was discovered in a burning suitcase.
The corpse of Rahmona Ahmedin, 23, who was a resident of Islington, north London, was found on fire in a carrying case in a lay-by in Cambridgeshire on Wednesday. Ms Ahmedin is said to have died of a stab wound to the chest, according to the results of a post-mortem.
A lorry driver caught site of the burning object on the A1301 and later detectives launched an investigation into the crime.
Police have now charged a 24-year-old man Jamal Bakhit, who has no fixed residence, with the murder of the young woman. He was arrested on his way to a police station in London.
