A man has been charged with murder after a headless corpse was found in Kilburn, north London.

Police said members of public had reported finding the headless body of a man wrapped in blankets in a supermarket goods cage on Wednesday.

A man, Mohamed Boudjenane, 45, has been charged with the killing and will appear before court on Monday. Detectives are also questioning a male and a female in connection with the incident.

Both people who are yet to be identified were arrested in Alvaston, Derby.

The identity of the man who was found dead is yet to be released and police are searching for the murder weapon as well as the victim's head.
