Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer has been questioned by police for reportedly indecently exposing himself to a woman.
The footballer, 27, has now been released after being quizzed over an alleged offence at the Swallow Nelson Hotel in Norwich on April 30th of this year.
A female member of staff at the hotel is supposed to have made an official complaint to Norfolk police, although a police spokesperson refused to confirm that it was Dyer who had been questioned, only saying that a 27-year-old man had.
Dyer, who has played at St James' Park since a £6 million move from Suffolk side Ipswich in 1999, has 28 international caps with England, although he was not named in the World Cup squad or the standby list.
He has struggled with injuries in recent years, restricting him to only 13 first-team appearances in the last season.
