The family of murdered schoolgirl Mary-Ann Leneghan are gathering at a memorial service today to mark the first anniversary of her death.
The 16-year-old was raped and tortured before being stabbed to death in Prospect Park in Reading. Her body was found on May 7th 2005.
Her friend, who has not been named, survived a gunshot wound to the head in the attack.
Michael Johnson, 19, Jamaile and Joshua Morally, 22 and 23, Adrian Thomas, 20, Indrit Krasniqi, 18, and Llewellyn Adams, 24 were all jailed for life for their part in the murder.
Thomas, Johnson and the Morally brothers were each told that they would spend at least 27 years in prison.
Adams and Krasniqi were told they would serve at least 23 years.
After the men were sentenced, Mary-Ann's family expressed their relief that the perpetrators had been brought to justice.
Mary-Ann's uncle Charlie Harris said: "I am just glad that justice has been done at the end of the day.
"Now we can finally lay Mary-Ann to rest."
Family members are attending the memorial service at Reading's Henley Road cemetery this afternoon.
