A two-year-old boy who was yesterday attacked by two dogs is said to be in a "critical but stable" condition in hospital.
Police were called to a house in Drighlington, near Bradford, at 13:20 BST yesterday after the toddler was attacked. A woman is also believed to have suffered non-life threatening injuries to her arm.
In a statement from West Yorkshire police this morning, a spokesman said: "He remains in a critical but stable condition in Leeds general infirmary. Specially trained officers are speaking to the family of the boy."
He added that following the incident, "a 37-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis". They are currently in custody.
Police said a detailed examination is taking place and enquiries were ongoing into the incident.
