Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with the rape of a young girl at a supermarket in Warwickshire.
Warwickshire police said they arrested the teenager yesterday evening in connection with the rape of the 11-year-old at a Sainsbury's supermarket in Leamington Spa on March 2nd.
He will be questioned by detectives at a Warwickshire police station today, a spokeswoman for the force said.
A £5,000 reward has already been offered for information leading to a conviction and e-fits of a key suspect have been released.
The unnamed girl was subjected to the ordeal when she went to the toilets alone at the store in Shires Retail Park at about 19:00 GMT.
Speaking anonymously, the young girl's mother has previously talked of her feelings of guilt and concern that the attacker could strike again.
