Former Hibernian manager John Collins has denied reports that he is in line to take charge at Fulham.
The ex-Scotland international left Hibernian a day before Lawrie Sanchez was sacked from Craven Cottage and media reports have suggested Collins has been approached to takeover from Sanchez.
"I can categorically state that I have not spoken with Fulham," said Collins, who spent three seasons at Fulham.
"It is just an unbelievable coincidence that I have left my job at the same time that Lawrie has left Fulham. But that is all it is. The reports are all wrong."
The 39-year-old said he was looking to take a break from the game and also denied he was interested in becoming the new Scotland manager.
"All I want to do is take a break and enjoy some time with my family," said Collins. "My decision to leave Hibernian has nothing to do with what happens with Scotland or Fulham.
"I just decided that enough was enough and there was no investment in the current squad.
"I will see if there are any interesting offers that come up in the future, but I have other business interests to pursue."
Fulham are languishing in 17th place in the Premier League and drew 1-1 at home to Wigan today under the guidance of temporary manager Ray Lewington.
