British actor Clive Owen is to star alongside Catherine Keener in a new film drama directed by Friends star David Schwimmer.
Millenium Films will produce Trust, said by Variety to be a dark movie concerned with "the damaging effects an online sexual predator has on a family".
Schwimmer, who directed 2007 comedy Run Fatboy Run, as well as co-directing the US version of Little Britain, wrote the story for Trust, with Andy Bellin completing the screenplay.
Owen, soon to appear at the London Film Festival to promote his new film The Boys Are Back, will play the father of a 14-year-old girl who has been targeted by a web-based sexual predator who has been posing as a teenager in internet chatrooms.
Keener, who stars in the eagerly awaited adaptation of children's classic Where the Wild Things Are, will play the child's mother with newcomer Liana Liberato cast as the victimised teen.
Production will begin in Michigan on November 9th, with Schwimmer and Dark Harbor Stories partner Tom Hodges producing alongside Nu Image/Millennium Films' Avi Lerner, Heidi Jo Marker and Bob Greenhut.
