Still in limbo over their new manager and the future ownership of the club, Manchester City will kick off the season on August 11th away to West Ham.
In their third game, on August 18th, City face bitter rivals Manchester United at home, with the champions entertaining them in the return fixture at Old Trafford on February 9th.
Manchester City fans will have to wait until the last game of the season before they get to 'welcome' Joey Barton and Sylvain Distin back to Eastlands, with the former likely to get a particularly hot reception after his controversial exit to Newcastle.
The Magpies will entertain City on October 6th, while a difficult month will also see a trip to Stamford Bridge on October 27th to play Chelsea.
Other highlights include a home game with Blackburn on Boxing Day and the visit of Liverpool three days later.
