Carragher eyes Chelsea

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes that the Reds must start beating Chelsea if they are to win trophies.
The Reds have already played the Blues four times this season without success and they will face each other again this Saturday in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
Now Carragher has told his Liverpool team-mates that they must start beating the likes of Chelsea if they are to lift any silverware in the future.
"To win the FA Cup we'd have to beat Chelsea anyway so if we had got one of the other teams, you'd expect Chelsea to be in the final," Carragher told Liverpool's official magazine.
"Everything you want to do now, you are going to have to beat Chelsea as to win the European Cup, we had to beat Chelsea; to win the FA Cup we'll have to beat Chelsea and to win the league, you are going to have to beat Chelsea."
Last season's European champions have already qualified for next season's Champions League through their league position but they currently sit 15 points behind league leaders Chelsea.
Despite the gap in points, Carragher believes that Liverpool have been constantly improving throughout the season and he hopes there is more to come.
"To secure qualification so quickly is a good achievement, particularly when you look at how difficult it has been to qualify in recent seasons," Carragher added.
"It is a sign of how much we have improved to go up two places in one season but hopefully we can go up another two next term."
Liverpool will be hoping the omens are with them as their only win over Chelsea in the last nine games was in last season's Champions League semi-final second leg on their way to lifting the trophy.
