Jenson Button continued to dominate Formula One as he took his fourth pole-position of the season at the Monaco Grand Prix.
The world championship leader, who has won four out of the first five races this season, edged-out Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen into second place by 0.025 seconds with a fastest lap of one minute 14.902 seconds.
Button will have his Brawn GP team-mate Rubens Barrichello close to him on the grid as the Brazilian qualified in third place, with Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel next in fourth position.
The second Ferrari of Felipe Massa will start the race in fifth place, while it was an encouraging display from Williams as both their cars qualified in the top ten, with Nico Rosberg in sixth and Kazuki Nakajimi in tenth.
Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton's miserable season continued as he crashed out early and will have to start the race from 16th on the grid.
The McLaren world champion was expected to be competitive in the race for the first time this season, but blew his chances in the early stages of qualifying after crashing his car at the entrance to Mirabeau's hairpin and smashed into the tyre wall, breaking its rear suspension.
