Premier League strugglers West Bromwich Albion were dumped out of the FA Cup by Championship side Burnley in their fourth round replay at Turf Moor to set up a fifth round tie away at Arsenal or Cardiff.
Owen Coyles side emerged 3-1 winners thanks to a brace from Steven Thompson and another from Wade Elliott, but it was Robbie Blake who has the star man terrorising the Baggies throughout the game.
Elliott opened the scoring shortly before half-time when West Brom failed the clear properly and he struck a powerful volley from 20 yards.
Thompson made it two after the re-start when he swept the ball home from six-yards after Martin Paterson's header had been blocked.
Gianni Zuiverloon gave Tony Mobrays men some hope with a smart finish on the hour, but Thompson made the game safe when he finished from close-range after brilliant work from Blake.
In front of a crowd of just 6,635 Burnley claimed another premier League scalp having already beaten Fulham, Chelsea and Arsenal this season in the Carling Cup.
