Brazil had no problems in defeating New Zealand as they breezed past their opponents 4-0.
The display by the World Cup favourites was very convincing, with Brazil looking in control all the way during the match played in Geneva.
Ronaldo showed that he could again claim the golden boot title at this summer's tournament by opening the scoring for the South Americans in the first half.
It was only a matter of time before Brazil added to their lead, as there was a clear gulf in class between them and an inexperienced New Zealand side.
Ronaldo's strike partner Adriano added to the lead during the second period. He was able to make some room for himself before firing a left footed shot into the New Zealand net.
The Inter Milan striker looked in dangerous form, while midfielder Kaka, who also plays in Milan for Inter's rivals AC Milan, scored the third.
Real Madrid's Ronaldo also had a chance to score a second for himself, but his deft chip beat the keeper only to come back off the post.
The thrashing was completed with a late goal from Juninho Pernambucano, who plays his domestic football in France, for Lyon.
It was a competent display in what was the final warm up match the favourites will play before their opening match in Germany.
