Police have confirmed three boys, two aged 12 and one aged 11, have been arrested and released on bail on suspicion of sexual assault in Bristol.
It is understood the victims are of primary school age, and did not suffer any physical injury.
A police spokesman said that although the children were not injured, "they and their families are understandably extremely shocked and distressed".
The incident took place at Hengrove Park in Bristol late last Saturday afternoon (September 12th). Police are calling for anyone who may have any information about the incident to come forward.
Avon and Somerset police said the three youths had been released on bail pending further inquiries.
