A blast outside a court in Pakistan has reportedly left at least 18 people dead and another 26 injured.
The Peshawar bomb attack was the latest in a series of attacks in the region, which has been subjected to increased violence since efforts were stepped up against the Taliban near to the Afghan border.
Reporters in the city say the attack happened on Khyber Road at rush hour, outside a court. Officials report three of the dead were police officers, and it is believed the attacker was a suicide bomber.
Last Friday a suicide car bomb attack on the same road killed at least 12 people and injured a further 40.
The court building in today's attack is close to the Pearl Continental Hotel, which was targeted by a truck bomb in the summer.
