Catalan Dragons captain Greg Bird has been given a one-match suspension after a reckless tackle on Celtic Crusaders prop Ryan O'Hara last Saturday.
The Australian international was charged with a grade C offence by the Rugby Football League match review panel at a hearing on Monday.
The stand-off will miss his side's clash with Salford City Reds at the Willows tomorrow evening and has also been fined £300 for his conduct in the 34-0 victory in Perpignan.
The former Cronulla Sharks player also received a warning letter for a "leg drop" challenge on Jordan James in the same match and also faces a minimum nine month jail sentence after causing grievous bodily harm to his girlfriend last summer.
