Toulouse overcame Biarritz to lift the Heineken Cup after an all-French climactic clash at the Stade de France in Paris.
David Skrela's boot proved crucial as Toulouse became the first side to win the premier competition in European rugby for a fourth time.
Biarritz had led 9-3 at the break due to three Dimitri Yachvili penalties with Florian Fritz replying for Toulouse.
Two Skrela penalties and a Fritz drop-goal put Toulouse 12-9 ahead before Yachvili replied with another penalty.
Skrela notched two drop goals and a penalty to extend the Toulousain lead and despite Karmichael Hunt's converted try, Basque outfit Biarritz could not overhaul the Toulouse advantage.
