David Beckham will rejoin AC Milan on loan in January, according to the Italian club's chief executive Adriano Galliani.
Milan have been in talks with LA Galaxy for some weeks with Galliani cautious to announce the conclusion of the deal before everything is sorted.
But it now appears certain that the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder will be a Milan player from January, after Galliani told Italy's Sky TV: "It's 100 per cent certain.
"The only thing missing is the signatures, the agreement is done."
After appearing for England during the 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Belarus earlier this month, Beckham said the deal was "95 per cent done" adding: "I don't see why it isn't going to happen. I always wanted to go back."
The midfielder had a similar loan spell at Milan last season, during the Major League Soccer off-season.
