Rangers' striker DaMarcus Beasley scored his first goal for the club and the only one of the game as the Scottish side recorded a 1-0 win over Zeta in the Champions League third qualifying round tie.
With a 2-0 advantage already secured in the first leg at Ibrox, Walter Smith's men comfortably converted their chance to progress with the Montenegrin champions offering little attacking threat.
Beasley, who signed from PSV Eindhoven over the summer, went close to opening his account early on but his curling effort faded just wide of the post.
A skidding, low effort from Bojan Ivanovic briefly had Allan McGregor scrambling across goal but it was a rare attempt by the hosts in a dour opening period.
The introduction of Nacho Novo at the expense of Jean-Claude Darcheville injected some energy into the Rangers frontline as the Spaniard forged runs in behind the home side's backline for the last half-hour.
Lee McCulloch, who started the game out wide, lashed a drive over, before Beasley showed him the route to goal.
The American international darted in off the flank, eluding a couple of tired defenders, and drilled a pinpoint effort inside the far post to settle matters with ten minutes left on the clock.
