Bath out in Biarritz

Bath have tumbled out of the Heineken Cup after an 18-9 loss in France at the hands of Biarritz.
The semi-final loss will see Bath eliminated this year and they will not qualify for the tournament through the league for next year.
Neither side could muster a try in a hard fought game and Bath were guilty of giving away too many penalties.
Dimitri Yachvili is not the man to give a lot of penalties and the France international kicked five to win the game.
The Bath coach Brian Ashton said: "I am bitterly disappointed with the outcome, we put ourselves under a lot of pressure in the first half. Our penalty count was too high and you cannot give soft points away without making it very difficult to win the game.
"In the second half we created opportunities to score tries but we didn't put the chances away, so I am very disappointed. I didn't think this was a game too far by any stretch of the imagination, and disappointed is a polite word to sum up the players' feeling that they didn't do better."
The game was ruined as a spectacle by a torrential rain storm which reduced the game to a kicking fest.
