A British Airways aeroplane has been forced into an emergency evacuation at Barcelona airport today following reports of fumes in the cabin.
A total of 176 passengers and several crew were forced to exit the Boeing 757 via emergency chutes shortly after landing in Spain just before 10:00 local time.
The cause of the fumes remains unknown, although BA said they are conducting "a full investigation into the incident".
In a statement, a spokesperson for the company said there were no reported serious injuries and all customers were well looked after once inside the airport terminal.
Further updates on the flight, which originated at London's Heathrow airport, are to be issued in due course the spokesperson added.
