Alan Curbishley has issued a rallying cry to his West Ham players, telling them they have just ten games to save their season.
The Hammers take on Tottenham today and Curbishley wants his side to focus on the games they have in front of them and not dwell on the past.
He said: "All we can do is look at the next ten games. We've got to get some pride back and some performances and we have to start today. What has happened already has gone."
With Watford's draw against Charlton yesterday the Hammers now find themselves at the foot of the table and Curbishley feels that three points against Spurs could start them on a run of results.
The Hammers boss said: "We've got to focus on the next ten games and we've got to win as many of them as we can to give our fans something to get behind. Because we've not done that in the last four or five weeks. We have to win as many as we can."
Former Hammers striker Jermain Defoe is set to return to the Spurs starting line up for the trip to Upton Park following Robbie Keane's red card last week.
Defoe believes it is a big game for the Hammers because they are beginning to lose touch with the teams outside the relegation zone.
He said: "They know that if they lose against us it could maybe be all over for them. It is a massive game for us as well because we want the points to move up the table."
West Ham will welcome back Lucas Neill and Matthew Upson from injury but will be without the suspended Nigel Reo-Coker.
Spurs will give late fitness test to Jermaine Jenas, Pascal Chimbonda and Didier Zokora but Steed Malkbranque is definitely ruled out with a groin injury.
