Andrew Cole has spoken of his frustration at spending much of this season on the bench at Portsmouth.
Cole has been linked with a move away from Fratton Park after making just one league start since joining from Manchester City in the summer.
The 35-year-old said that while he never expected to play every game, he was not happy with his current situation.
The former Manchester United, Blackburn and Newcastle striker also said Pompey boss Harry Redknapp had not told him about interest from other clubs.
"He hasn't told me," Cole said. "But to be fair he has kept away from me for the past few days."
He added: "I have sat about on the bench for four months. I am not going to lie, I do get frustrated."
Benjamin Mwaruwari, Nwankwo Kanu and Lomano LuaLua are ahead of Cole in the pecking order and Redknapp could be tempted to bring in another striker this month after making such a strong start to the season.
Pompey are currently sixth in the Premiership after narrowly avoiding relegation last term.
Cole meanwhile could be set for a move to Charlton where boss Alan Pardew desperately needs goals to keep his team in the top flight.
