Tottenham Hotspur will start their latest attempt at breaking into the top four with a trip to Wearside after the 2007/08 season Premiership fixtures were announced today.

Martin Jol's side will be the first Premiership opponents for Roy Keane's Sunderland when the sides meet at the Stadium of Light on August 11th, with Spurs coming back south to face Everton at home three days afterwards.

Spurs will end their season with tasty home clash with Liverpool on May 11th, which could conceivably be a Champions League-placings decider.

The north London side face their local rivals Arsenal at home on September 15th and away on December 22nd.
