Tottenham coasted past Championship side Cardiff 4-0 in their third round FA Cup replay at White Heart Lane as their march in three cup competitions continued.
Spurs got over the disappointment of losing to Newcastle at the weekend by routing their opponents in an inspired first-half.
The home side had much of the possession and were rewarded when Aaron Lennon eventually broke the deadlock after 27 minutes.
Lennon started the move in his own half and after receiving the ball from Didier Zokora in the area the England international slotted home.
Three minutes later Spurs doubled their advantage when Dimitar Berbatov broke down the flank and pulled the ball back to a grateful Robbie Keane who put the ball past Neil Alexander in the Cardiff goal.
Steed Malbranque made it 3-0 before the break; rifling a shot inside the post from 25 yards out to leave the visitors stunned.
In the second-half Spurs were able to take it easy and sit on their lead and that led to some Cardiff pressure but the result was never in any doubt.
Jermain Defoe came off the bench and added a fourth in the 81st minute after Hossam Ghaly's long-range effort was spilled by Alexander.
Defoe was the quickest to react and poked the ball home for his 14th of the season in all competitions.
Tottenham will now face Southend at home in the fourth round.
