Florent Malouda wants Chelsea to focus on the Premier League

Chelsea winger Florent Malouda has claimed he is fully focused on the Premier League despite the distractions of three other competitions this year.
The Blues are preparing to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Carling Cup final later this month in what will be the first domestic final of the season at Wembley.
And although his side are the holders and will be desperate to retain their title, Malouda feels the team's focus is trained firmly on the pursuit of Arsenal and Manchester United at the top of the table.
"We have to remain focused on the league," Malouda told the Daily Mirror.
"You can't choose which competition to win."
Chelsea trail the Gunners by eight points after the north London side comfortably dispatched Blackburn Rovers at the Emirates Stadium last night.
And Malouda, who is looking to help Chelsea win back the league title in his first season since joining from Lyon last summer, is under no illusions what is needed if the 2005 and 2006 champions are to close the gap.
"We are a good team and we set a target to win every game. All the top clubs look for that," he continued.
"You are happy to win and very angry when you drop points. That is your motivation."
Chelsea's involvement in the FA Cup continues this weekend with a home match against League One Huddersfield Town at Stamford Bridge, before they resume their quest for the Champions League trophy in a two-legged tie against Olympiakos beginning next week.
