Thierry Henry says Giovani Dos Santos can be 'among best in world'
Former Arsenal captain Thierry Henry believes new Tottenham Hotspur signing Giovani Dos Santos has the potential to be among the best players in the world.

The young Mexican forward joined Spurs from Barcelona last month for a fee of £4.7 million.

According to several pundits in Spain, Dos Santos could see plenty of first-team football at White Hart Lane under manager Juande Ramos.

And Henry, who spent 11 years with Tottenham's bitter rivals in north London, says having seen the player at close quarters in the Barca setup he is confident he can make a mark in arguably the strongest domestic league in the world.

"Giovani has everything to be a success at Tottenham," Henry told the Daily Express newspaper.

"He has speed and can change the course of a game with his genius.

"He can in two, three or four years be one of the best players in the world if he wants."

Dos Santos, 19, faces stiff competition from a number of players for a starting berth in the Spurs lineup, including the highly-rated pair Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane and the club's record signing Darren Bent.End of story
